Brief Job Description
Excellent opportunity for a Chartered Accountant looking to progress their career with a dynamic, fast growing MNC with significant operations in Ireland, in multiple locations nationwide, in a position to offer visible career path to Director level. Reporting to the Finance Director, this key management position will lead a small local team, and responsibilities will involve:
- Monthly financial and management reporting to tight deadlines including statutory reporting and preparation of monthly management accts (KPI review, working capital management, Revenue reporting)
- Establishing and maintaining tight internal controls, and interacting with external auditors and advisors
- Management and coordination of grant activity, overseeing payroll function, Tax preparation
- Establishing and managing a team to ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Continuous improving process and procedures
- Provide input and guidance of a financial and business nature
Requirements for this Role
Ideal candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong academic track record, and minimum three to five years post qualification experience. Candidate must be ambitious, with strong technical accounting skills, with good interpersonal and communication skills, and experience of managing a team.
